Educational Qualification (शैक्षणिक पात्रता)
Professor-E:
First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied Mathematics), Geology, Electronics, Computer Science, Atmospheric Science, Statistics, Space Physics, or related applied subjects. A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with significant experience is required.
Reader:
First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied/Pure), Geology, Electronics, or Computer Science with 6 years of research experience, or a Doctorate with at least 2 years of postdoctoral experience in Geomagnetism or related fields.
Fellow:
First Class Master’s degree in Computer Science or Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics, Geology, or Electronics. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Doctorate degree or 2–3 years of relevant research experience in a reputed laboratory.
Assistant Director (OL):
Master’s degree along with relevant experience.
Assistant:
Graduate in Arts, Science, or Commerce with 3 years of work experience.
Stenographer Grade-I:
Holding an analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department.
Technical Assistant (Civil):
Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Stenographer Grade-II:
12th passed. Skill Test: Dictation – 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m. and Transcription – 50 minutes (English) on computer.
Upper Division Clerk:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce.
Lower Division Clerk:
10th passed or equivalent. Must have computer knowledge and a minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English/Hindi (typing test will be conducted on computer).
