Educational Qualification
For Materials Manager:
- Essential: Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution
- Desirable: Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Materials Management from a recognised University/Institution
- Experience: Twelve years experience in Executive Cadre in the field of Materials Management/ Mechanical Engg/ Electrical Engineering in an Industrial/ Commercial/ Govt Undertaking

Step 1: Online Application
Submit application through ‘Online Application Portal (OAP)’ of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (http://onlinevacancy.shipmin.nic.in) from 8.12.2025 to 6.1.2026.
Step 2: Hard Copy Submission
Submit hard-copy of application form uploaded in OAP to administrative Port for onward forwarding to MbPA.
Step 3: Document Submission by Port
Administrative Ports to forward applications with complete documents superscribing “Application for the post of Materials Manager in Mumbai Port Authority” on or before 21.1.2026.

Selection is by merit for which overall grading in the APARs should not be below “Very Good”.
тЪая╕П Important Note: Applications must be submitted ONLY through Online Application Portal (OAP). No other mode accepted. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date will not be considered. Candidates who withdraw after selection will be debarred for 2 years from future selections to Dy. HoD level posts. The crucial date for eligibility is 6.1.2026.
