Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all accounting tasks. You will manage core bookkeeping functions, handle banking activities directly, and contribute to the preparation of crucial financial statements. Your work will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting the broader finance team.
• Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software and maintain up-to-date records.
• Process and verify invoices, prepare payments, and handle petty cash.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and discrepancies resolved.
• Prepare cheques/slips for deposits, withdrawals, and other banking needs.
• Visit banks and other financial institutions to complete necessary transactions.
• Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in accounting principles and practical experience in financial processes. You must be adept at managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external institutions.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (internships or part-time experience included).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in handling accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare and review journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Understanding of tax regulations (GST, TDS) and statutory compliance.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
