Amicus Lex & Associates, a law firm based in Mumbai, is seeking a motivated Junior Advocate to join our dynamic team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in real estate law, regulatory compliance, and litigation while working closely with experienced senior lawyers and partners. The ideal candidate will be integral in supporting our practice across transactional, advisory, and dispute resolution matters. This is a full-time, permanent position for individuals eager to develop their legal career in a hands-on, professional environment.

Your key responsibilities will encompass a variety of legal support functions across our core practice areas:
• Real Estate & Transaction Support: Assist in title due diligence, prepare reports, and draft/vet agreements for sale, development agreements, lease documents, and MOUs.
• Redevelopment & Society Matters: Support documentation and compliance for society redevelopment projects, coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Litigation & Regulatory Work: Assist in cases before Civil Courts, High Court, and RERA by drafting pleadings, conducting research, and attending hearings.
• Research & Advisory: Conduct legal research on property laws and regulations to aid in drafting opinions and staying updated on legal developments.
• Client & Office Coordination: Support client interactions and coordinate with government offices, courts, and consultants while maintaining organized case files.

Skill Requirement

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive legal professional with a strong desire to learn and grow within real estate law. The successful candidate will possess excellent drafting skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced setting. A client-focused and ethical approach is essential for this role.

The essential qualifications and attributes for this position are:
• Eligibility: LL.B. degree and registration with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
• Experience: 2–4 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). Freshers with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
• Skills: Strong legal drafting, research capabilities, and familiarity with court procedures and real estate documentation.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under deadlines while handling multiple assignments.
• Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Marathi is preferred for effective local interaction.
