Studio Sabr is seeking a dedicated Junior Interior Designer to join our team in Mumbai. This role is central to supporting the execution of high-end corporate and hospitality interior projects. You will be instrumental in transforming design concepts into reality through meticulous documentation and active on-site coordination. The position requires a hands-on approach across the entire project lifecycle in a dynamic, site-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in concept development, space planning, and detailed design for luxury corporate and hospitality interiors.
• Prepare, update, and manage all project drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials using CAD and SketchUp.
• Actively participate in client meetings and site visits across Mumbai, ensuring all discussions and decisions are accurately documented.
• Mark up drawings in real-time during meetings to capture feedback and coordinate changes efficiently.
• Liaise with senior designers, project managers, vendors, and site teams to ensure flawless implementation of design intent.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, drawing registers, and revision histories.
Work Conditions:
• This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mumbai (Marol) with extensive travel to project sites.
• Work schedule follows a 6-day working week, with flexibility required based on project demands.

Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented designer with approximately 3 years of relevant experience. A strong foundation in technical documentation, visual communication, and site coordination is essential for success in this fast-paced role. You must be fluent in English and Hindi, with a willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Approximately 3 years of interior design experience, with a preference for candidates exposed to corporate or hospitality sectors.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for creating 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with proven ability in professional documentation, email correspondence, and minute-taking.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to translate discussions into precise drawings and action points.
• Ability to reliably commute to various locations across Mumbai for site visits and meetings.
