Job Description
As a Junior Student Counsellor at Atmia Education – SEU, you will serve as the primary bridge between aspiring students and their global education goals. Working under the mentorship of Senior Counsellors, your role is a dynamic mix of tele-counselling, lead engagement, and sales conversion. You will be responsible for managing the initial stages of the admission funnel by reaching out to prospective leads, explaining university profiles, and handling parent inquiries with confidence. This is a high-growth “launchpad” role designed to transform ambitious freshers or sales professionals into expert education consultants.
Lead Management: Conduct outbound calls (cold and warm) to engage with prospective students and maintain a consistent follow-up pipeline.
Event Coordination: Invite and register candidates for webinars, seminars, and education fairs to drive brand engagement.
Student Support: Provide basic information regarding courses, eligibility, and the admission process while escalating complex queries to seniors.
Documentation & CRM: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system to ensure no opportunity is missed.
Career Progression: Active participation in training sessions to master the end-to-end admission journey, from first contact to visa filing.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a target-driven communicator who possesses a “fire in their belly” and a genuine passion for the education sector. Whether you are a fresher or have experience in BPO, insurance, or retail sales, you must demonstrate a high level of ownership and a professional phone manner. Since the role involves convincing both students and parents, the ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively is crucial for success.
Communication Excellence: Fluent verbal skills in English and Hindi; the ability to speak regional languages is a significant advantage.
Sales Aptitude: A proven “target-driven” mindset with the discipline to manage daily call quotas and MIS reporting.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong persuasion and rapport-building abilities to navigate initial objections from parents and students.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
Educational Background: A Graduate degree in any stream is preferred, though relevant experience in tele-sales or customer service is highly valued.
Resilience: A positive, energetic attitude with the stamina to handle high-volume calling and fast-paced work environments.
