V.K. Lalco Group is seeking an experienced Senior Liaison Officer to play a pivotal role in our SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) projects in Mumbai. Based in Borivali, this full-time position is central to the successful planning and execution of community-focused urban development. You will act as the primary link between the company and a diverse range of stakeholders, including slum dwellers, government agencies, developers, NGOs, and local communities.
Your core responsibility will be to facilitate smooth project implementation through expert stakeholder management, clear communication, and proactive conflict resolution. You will be tasked with building trust within communities, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed, and navigating the complex regulatory environment of SRA projects. This role requires a strategic individual who can monitor project progress, ensure compliance, and use data-driven insights to enhance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with all SRA project stakeholders.
• Conduct community meetings to engage residents, address concerns, and ensure participatory decision-making.
• Communicate complex SRA policies and project details in clear, understandable terms.
• Proactively identify, mediate, and resolve conflicts among stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with all SRA regulations and government policies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Mumbai’s real estate sector and specific knowledge of SRA processes. You must be an exceptional communicator and negotiator, capable of building consensus among parties with differing interests. Strong problem-solving skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work independently are essential for this high-impact role.
A relevant educational background and mandatory, demonstrable experience in SRA project liaison are non-negotiable requirements. Fluency in local languages is critical for effective ground-level engagement.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SRA projects (required).
• Proven experience in stakeholder liaison within Mumbai’s real estate/urban development sector.
• In-depth understanding of SRA regulations, policies, and processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English (required).
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education & Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in person.

• Pay: ₹40,000 – ₹80,000 per month
