Join our dynamic and rapidly growing credit union as a Loan/Mortgage Officer. We are expanding our capacity to serve home buyers and are looking for a dedicated individual, whether a fresher or with some experience, to manage our mortgage loan processing. In this role, you will be the crucial link between loan approval and final disbursement, ensuring a smooth and compliant journey for our clients.

You will be responsible for managing residential and commercial real estate loan documentation with precision. Your work will involve collecting and verifying borrower documents, preparing complete loan submission packages for underwriting, and ensuring all processes adhere to current banking regulations. Skill Requirement

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication skills. A background in finance or banking is beneficial, but we welcome fresh graduates with the right aptitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree is required.

Minimum 1 year of total work experience is required. Relevant experience in loan processing, origination, or as a loan officer is highly valued, but freshers with strong academic credentials are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Review initial loan approvals and coordinate with borrowers to gather all necessary documentation.

Collect and verify all required documents to build a complete loan file.

Create accurate and thorough loan submission packages for the Underwriting department.

Submit files to assigned underwriters and manage the follow-up process.

Satisfy all conditions requested by the underwriter promptly.

Ensure every loan file complies with established lending guidelines and banking regulations.

Communicate professionally with attorneys, county clerks, title companies, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of loan processing and documentation.

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Proficiency in English (verbal and written) for clear communication.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to understand and apply banking regulations and lending policies.

Basic computer literacy and ability to work with loan management systems.

Work Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai.
