Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Nurse to join our operating room team. In this full-time, day-shift role, you will play a critical part in the surgical process, providing essential care to patients before, during, and after procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating environment, directly assisting anaesthetists and surgeons, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and sterile technique. You must be ready to respond calmly and effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clear preoperative instructions and prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery.
• Assist the anaesthetist and surgical team as required, anticipating needs and providing instruments or supplies.
• Sterilize and accurately mark incision sites on patients.
• Prepare and maintain the sterility of the operating room and all surgical instruments.
• Monitor patients for complications and intervene promptly under the direction of the surgical team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document all care accurately.

Required Experience & Skills:
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Nurse or in a related total work environment (Preferred).
• Demonstrated clinical skills and knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols.
• Ability to remain responsive, calm, and effective in emergency or high-pressure situations.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education: Secondary (10th Pass) or higher nursing qualification (Preferred).
• Licensure: A valid Nursing License (Preferred).
