Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter to join our production team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle the final assembly, quality testing, and preparation for dispatch of our machines and mechanical tools. This is a hands-on, full-time position requiring precision and adherence to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate assembly of mechanical machines and tools according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing of assembled units to ensure they meet all quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Execute careful packing of finished products to prevent damage during transit, following standard packaging guidelines.
• Manage the final dispatch process, ensuring all documentation is complete and orders are ready for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the production and assembly area.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a certified ITI Fitter, either a fresher or with some workshop experience, who is reliable, meticulous, and possesses good manual dexterity. A key preference will be given to candidates residing in or near the Thane and Bhiwandi areas.
Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: ITI Certificate in the Fitter Trade is mandatory.
• Academic Background: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) is required.
• Experience: Open to freshers as well as candidates with 1-2 years of experience in production, assembly, or a similar mechanical role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and understanding mechanical assembly principles.
• Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, safety consciousness, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
• Residence: Candidates residing in or near Thane and Bhiwandi will be given strong preference for proximity to the work location.
