Unitribes™ is India’s leading workwear and bags brand, powering tribes across corporate, medical, and hospitality industries. With in-house manufacturing in Mumbai, we design and produce world-class uniforms, bags, and gear. We are a mission-driven tribe aiming to make workwear iconic.
We seek a seasoned Senior Merchandiser for Uniforms to own the end-to-end merchandising process. You will be the critical link between design, vendors, and production, ensuring flawless execution from sampling to delivery. This on-site role requires a proactive leader to manage timelines, costs, and quality for bulk orders.
Core Function : Lead end-to-end merchandising for uniform products, including sample development, costing, order execution, and vendor coordination.
Production Oversight : Supervise entire production, range planning, and monitor work-in-progress to ensure timely dispatch from PO to delivery.
Vendor & Cost Management : Build and manage vendor relationships, negotiate costs, and maintain detailed BOM and costing sheets.
Quality & Operations : Oversee quality assurance for raw materials and finished goods, manage inventory, and maintain accurate production MIS.
Skill Requirement
We need a highly organized professional with deep expertise in uniform merchandising and a strong execution focus. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent vendor management skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, founder-driven environment.
Must-Have Experience & Skills:
• 4-5 years of merchandising experience in bags, rainwear, winter wear, or outdoor gear.
• Proven experience managing bulk orders (approx. 1 lakh units) from sampling to delivery.
• Strong product knowledge in uniform development, fabric combinations, and garment construction.
• Expertise in costing sheets, vendor negotiation, and management.
• Ability to lead a team, multitask across clients, and demonstrate high ownership and speed.
Technical & Operational Requirements:
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience in quality assurance, inventory management, and production MIS reporting.
• Graduate degree, preferably in Fashion/Garment technology.
