Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a detail-oriented professional who will be the critical link between sales, design, and execution for modular kitchens and wardrobes. You will be responsible for translating client needs into accurate designs and quotations, ensuring flawless order execution, and maintaining strict compliance with quality and timelines from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design & Quotation: Create precise modular kitchen and wardrobe designs from CAD drawings and client inputs. Generate detailed quotations, apply markups, and prepare 3D renders for client presentations.
• Site Survey & Validation: Conduct on-site surveys post-order confirmation to validate measurements and site conditions. Identify and resolve any layout or specification deviations.
• Client Coordination & Documentation: Communicate all final specifications to clients and secure written confirmation for all approvals and changes. Maintain meticulous project documentation.
• Order Processing & Vendor Coordination: Ensure client payments are received before placing orders with vendors. Verify order accuracy and align vendor delivery timelines with client commitments.
• Order Tracking & Escalation: Proactively track production progress with vendors multiple times a week. Monitor quality and timelines, escalating any issues or delays immediately to your supervisor.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a technically proficient and communicative candidate with a strong foundation in modular furniture systems and a proactive approach to project coordination and problem-solving.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong practical understanding of modular kitchen and wardrobe systems and construction.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or equivalent).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, BOQs, and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and interface with sales, accounts, and vendors.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the discipline to escalate issues promptly.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in modular furniture design, specifically for kitchens and/or wardrobes.
• Prior experience in vendor coordination and production tracking is a strong advantage.
