Job Description

The Night Operations & Care Supervisor ensures resident safety, clinical quality, and seamless facility operations during night hours. This pivotal role manages nursing supervision, coordinates tele-consultations, oversees night-time call handling, and maintains operational readiness. The supervisor is the primary point of contact for all night-time activities, ensuring protocols are followed and communication across care, security, and support teams is effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Nursing Supervision: Monitor residents’ night-time care routines, oversee vital checks and medication administration, and ensure accurate clinical documentation. Handle medical concerns and escalate emergencies promptly.
• Facility Operations: Conduct safety and security rounds, ensure cleanliness, and coordinate with security and maintenance vendors. Resolve service issues with minimal disruption to residents.
• Stores & Inventory Management: Ensure availability of essential medical and care consumables. Maintain organized stores and accurate nightly stock logs for handover.
• Tele-Consultation & Call Management: Receive, triage, and manage all night-time calls. Coordinate tele-consultations with doctors, schedule appointments in the EHR system, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

The ideal candidate is a calm, dependable professional with strong clinical oversight and operational coordination skills. They must possess excellent observation, documentation, and communication abilities to manage night-shift teams and ensure resident comfort. Empathy, patience, and the capacity to respond efficiently to emergencies are crucial for success in this role.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ANM / GNM / B.Sc in Nursing.
• 2–4 years of experience in nursing supervision or senior care operations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Calm, dependable, and efficient during emergency situations.
• Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to supervise and guide caregivers and security staff.
• Empathy and patience towards elderly residents.
• Clear communication for handovers and escalation.
• Strong telephone etiquette and doctor coordination skills.

• Night shift discipline & incident handling.
• Nursing team & caregiver supervision effectiveness.
