Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Sports Teacher for the academic session 2026-27. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive sports curriculum for students in grades I to V, in alignment with the CBSE planner. The role involves fostering physical education, sportsmanship, and a love for fitness in young learners through structured activities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Planning and conducting engaging sports classes for primary school students (Grades I-V) as per CBSE guidelines.
• Organizing and supervising a balanced mix of indoor and outdoor games, utilizing available school facilities to their full potential.
• Actively participating in and coordinating inter-school competitions, sports meets, and other events.
• Managing official documentation, student data, and event details on designated Interschool and government portals.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will be a motivated sports educator with relevant qualifications and a passion for teaching young children. You must be proficient in using digital portals for administrative tasks and committed to promoting holistic development through physical education.
Requirements:
• Education: A Bachelor of Education (B.P.Ed) or Master of Education (M.P.Ed) is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of preferred experience in teaching, lesson plan development, and overall classroom/sports field management.
• Technical Skill: Must be computer literate and able to work efficiently on various Interschool and government portals for submissions and reporting.
• Language: Proficiency in English is preferred for effective communication and instruction.
