Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and thoughtful Mentor Teacher to join our educational institution. The primary purpose of this role is to guide students competently, with consideration for their values and diverse backgrounds, preparing them for adulthood as global citizens. You will provide mentorship, manage classroom responsibilities, deliver subject instruction, and foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mentor:
• Guide, support, and hand-hold students in content learning, study schedules, and developing effective study and time management skills.
• Create differentiated learning strategies for individual student needs and maintain detailed feedback records.
• Be accessible to students for support, including after school hours.
As a Class Teacher:
• Maintain and update daily student attendance and academic logs on the ERP system within strict deadlines.
• Manage communication with parents, including sending circulars and coordinating Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
• Maintain Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each student and create engaging learning spaces in the classroom.
As a Subject Teacher:
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and educational resources, and effectively utilize the Online Learning Platform (OLP).
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and enter grades into the ERP system for periodic tests and assignments.
• Conduct specialized “Step-Up” classes for targeted student support, track progress, and collaborate with coordinators and Heads of Department.
General Duties:
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders in regular meetings.
• Assist with daily school operations such as brunch, lunch, and dispersal duties.
• Participate in professional development workshops and staff committee work to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in English (required).
• Strong classroom management, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Online Learning Platforms (OLP), and MS Office for daily logs, grading, and communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and provide individualized student support.
• Collaborative mindset for working with colleagues, parents, and administratio
