Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate is a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering with a proven track record of securing cost-effective purchase agreements and managing inventory with precision. In this role, you will leverage your negotiation skills and analytical abilities to source materials, manage vendor relationships, and optimize our supply chain for efficiency and cost savings.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire procurement lifecycle, from vendor negotiation and contract management to inventory planning and record-keeping. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance productivity. Skill Requirement

Education & Logistics:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required. A Bachelor’s degree is also listed as required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement/purchasing is highly preferred, with at least 1 year of total work experience being a formal requirement.
Must reside in the Thane, Bhiwandi, or Kalyan region.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
Negotiate purchase agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and discounted pricing.
Manage and maintain meticulous inventory records, forecasting usage and planning accordingly.
Utilize ERP systems, spreadsheet software, and related procurement tools proficiently.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize inventory logistics and reduce costs.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams, demonstrating excellent reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Apply social perception and persuasion skills to build strong vendor relationships.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas to increase operational productivity.
Work Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in Pimplas, Thane, Maharashtra.
