₹20,000 - ₹25,000 a month
Experience: Fresher

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Electronics Repair and Debug Technician to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex hardware faults in electronic assemblies and systems. Your work will involve intricate component-level troubleshooting, voltage regulation, signal analysis, and advanced rework on a wide range of SMD and through-hole technologies. You will be the technical authority for hardware issues, contributing to repair protocols and mentoring junior technicians to elevate the team’s overall capability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and rectify complex voltage regulation and power delivery issues across various DC rails (e.g., -19V, 3.3V, 5V), including identifying and repairing short circuits.
• Perform expert-level rework, soldering, and component replacement on SMDs, PTH components, BGA chips, ports, sockets, and connectors.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex CPU and BGA-related failures using schematics, boardview files, and advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Analyze circuits by interpreting board views and schematics to trace voltage and signal integrity, identifying faults down to the component level.
• Prepare, document, and standardize detailed troubleshooting guidelines and repair procedures for recurring faults.
• Provide hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) to Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) technicians to build team competency.

Skill Requirement

We are looking for a meticulous and expert-level technician with deep theoretical knowledge and exceptional hands-on skills in electronic hardware repair. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who can work independently on complex faults, communicate technical concepts clearly, and is passionate about knowledge sharing and process improvement. A methodical approach and mastery of diagnostic tools are essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Expertise in diagnosing and repairing voltage/power issues and short circuits in electronic boards.
• Proven mastery in advanced soldering and rework techniques for SMD, BGA, PTH, and connector replacements.
• In-depth ability to debug CPU, chipset, and BGA failures using schematics and boardview software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electronic component identification, functionality, and circuit analysis.
• Proficiency in using a wide array of testing equipment: Multimeter, Oscilloscope (CRO), Signal/Frequency Generators, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meters, Frequency Counters, etc.
• Expertise in firmware flashing and programming using relevant tools and software.
• Strong ability to create technical documentation and provide effective training to junior staff.
