Job Description
Join our team as a Host/Hostess at East 7th Pizza & Deli in Bandra West, Mumbai. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will be the face of our restaurant, managing the guest experience from arrival to departure. You will play a key part in our service team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction, with the added benefit of earning a share of service charges.
• Manage the front-of-house, including greeting guests, managing table allocation, and handling the waitlist during busy periods.
• Answer phone calls to address customer inquiries and process takeaway orders.
• Take orders at tables, serve customers, and coordinate delivery and takeaway orders.
• Oversee the service and utility teams to ensure the restaurant and guest areas maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual with excellent communication skills and a hardworking attitude. Fluency in English is essential, along with basic computer skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including late shifts. Previous restaurant experience is highly valued.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.
• Must possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to regular attendance.
• Ability and willingness to work late shifts, with duties potentially lasting until midnight.
