Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Shop Executive to manage our Surgical Retail Store. This role places you at the center of daily store operations, where you will be responsible for inventory, sales, customer service, and administrative tasks. You will ensure the store runs smoothly, maintains high standards of hygiene and presentation, and provides a helpful, professional experience for every customer. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys retail management within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end inventory: maintain stock levels, monitor expiry dates, raise purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist customers by providing product information, handling billing and POS transactions, and ensuring excellent service.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, product display, store hygiene, and record-keeping.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, cash, inventory, and generate basic reports.
• Gradually handle an expanding product range, from basic consumables to medical devices and equipment.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a responsible and independent individual with experience in retail, preferably in a medical or surgical setting. Strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and excellent customer interaction abilities are essential.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Graduate or Diploma in Pharmacy preferred.
• Experience in retail, medical store, or surgical shop operations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations, billing/inventory software, and MS Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in Thane or along the Central Line (Dadar to Kalyan).
