Job Description
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in the sales of mechanical machines and tools. This role is ideal for a motivated Mechanical Engineer who can combine technical knowledge with strong sales acumen to understand customer needs and drive business growth. You will act as the vital link between our customers and our production team, ensuring successful deal closure and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare commercial offers and engage in direct communication with customers to negotiate and close sales deals.
Coordinate closely with the production team to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered on schedule.
Discuss equipment needs and technical system requirements with customers and internal engineers.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide essential technical sales support.
Generate high-quality sales leads, conduct follow-ups, secure and renew orders, negotiate pricing, and arrange deliveries.
Set, pursue, and achieve individual sales goals and quotas.
Skill Requirement
We are looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, paired with the drive and skill to excel in a technical sales environment. Freshers and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
A Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
1 to 5 years of total work experience, with at least 1 year of direct sales experience (Required).
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
Ability to translate technical information for non-technical customers effectively.
Prior experience in sales of mechanical machines & tools is preferred.
Must be willing to travel locally as needed (approximately 25%).
Must reside in Kalyan-Dombivli, Thane, Bhiwandi, or Mumbai (as confirmed in the application question).
