Job Description
This is a full-time, permanent role for an Office Sales position based in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through proactive outreach and meticulous customer engagement. Key duties include handling inquiries, performing cold calls using existing databases and generated leads, and submitting tailored quotations. The role also involves diligent follow-up to convert inquiries into confirmed orders and coordinating internally to ensure successful order execution and delivery. Industry analysis is a core function, requiring the preparation of content and presentations to understand customer challenges and propose optimal solutions from the company’s product range.
• Handle sales inquiries and take appropriate actions.
• Perform cold calling and tele-calling using existing databases and generated leads.
• Prepare and submit quotations as per customer requirements and follow up to secure orders.
• Coordinate order execution with internal teams and customers to ensure successful delivery.
• Conduct industry-wise analysis to understand applications, problems, and present tailored solutions.
• Achieve monthly sales targets for both product quantity and value.
• Maintain detailed records of all inquiries, quotations, orders, and losses in Excel.
• Submit weekly reports covering daily visits, pipeline inquiries, orders in hand, and pending recoveries.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical education and practical sales experience. A degree in BE Mechanical, DME, BSC Physics, or an MBA in Marketing is required, along with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, as is excellent communication ability in Marathi, English, and Hindi. The role demands strong networking skills, analytical thinking to interpret customer needs, and a target-oriented approach to consistently meet sales objectives.
