Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Scrum Master with a strong techno-functional mindset to join our team in Mumbai. In this key role, you will guide and coach one or more Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions in the payment solutions, BFSI, retail, or healthcare domains. You will act as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement while ensuring process excellence and adherence to Agile principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and champion Scrum or Kanban best practices.
• Serve as a techno-functional liaison, translating business requirements into actionable technical goals and ensuring alignment between development teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, define clear user stories, and manage sprint deliverables.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments to team progress, escalating issues when necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor and report on team performance using Agile metrics, promoting a focus on continuous improvement and delivery commitments.
• Work with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure seamless, high-quality releases and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute to organizational Agile maturity by participating in and leading Agile community forums and process enhancement initiatives.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Agile practitioner with 7–8 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years as a Scrum Master in payment solutions, BFSI, retail, or healthcare. You must possess strong techno-functional understanding, excellent facilitation and coaching skills, and a process-oriented approach to driving efficiency and team success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 7–8 years of total experience in IT/Software Development, with 4+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Proven experience in payment solutions, BFSI, retail, or healthcare industries.
• Strong techno-functional ability to understand enterprise systems and business workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team facilitation skills.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP are preferred.
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and Agile compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation strategies.
• Experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS).
• Exposure to regulatory/compliance-driven domains like BFSI or healthcare.
