Job Description
We are looking for a professional and vigilant individual to join our restaurant team in a guest-facing security and compliance role. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, legality, and smooth flow of guest entry while upholding our establishment’s standards. This position is crucial for creating a welcoming yet secure environment for all patrons.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact, managing the entrance and verifying guest credentials. You will work collaboratively with the restaurant staff to ensure policies are followed and any issues are documented and communicated effectively to maintain a safe and pleasant atmosphere.
Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
Greet guests, manage entry, and escort them to their tables while maintaining an accurate guest log.
Enforce the restaurant’s dress code policies consistently and courteously.
Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and security personnel to ensure a coordinated team effort.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, ejections, and other relevant activities for management reporting.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. You must be able to interact with guests professionally while firmly upholding establishment policies, balancing customer service with necessary compliance duties.
We require an observant individual who can remain calm and assertive in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in hospitality or a customer-facing role is beneficial, as it builds the interpersonal skills needed for this position.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
1 year of total work experience is preferred, particularly in hospitality, security, or customer service.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Excellent observational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
