Job Description
This full-time, permanent position is for a Storekeeper cum Supervisor, a critical role responsible for ensuring seamless inventory control and production oversight within a factory environment. The primary purpose is to manage all stock-related activities—from receipt to dispatch—while supervising production staff to ensure operational efficiency.
You will be directly accountable for the entire inventory lifecycle, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, organized, and issued. A core part of the role involves maintaining meticulous records, preventing stock discrepancies, and guaranteeing a safe, orderly warehouse. Additionally, you will supervise factory production activities, providing guidance and instructions to workers to ensure the smooth functioning of all departments and coordinated operations.
This is an on-site position located in Panvel, Maharashtra, requiring hands-on management and supervision.

Core Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking and conduct regular physical cycle counts.
Receiving & Dispatching: Unload, inspect deliveries for damage/discrepancies, document receipts, and prepare goods for dispatch.
Storage & Organization: Arrange items logically, maintain a clean and safe store, ensure clear aisles, and manage stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO).
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records (bin cards, ledgers, digital systems) for all stock movements and transactions.
Issuing Materials: Dispense items to departments based on proper documentation and requests (indents).
Reporting: Initiate purchase requisitions for low stock and report damaged or surplus items.
Supervision: Supervise factory production activities, guide workers, provide instructions, and manage departmental coordination for smooth functioning.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in store management is required.
Proven ability in inventory control, record-keeping, and stock auditing.
Experience in receiving, inspecting, and dispatching goods.
Knowledge of stock rotation principles (FIFO/FEFO) and warehouse safety.
Demonstrated experience in supervising staff or production activities.
Must be able to work in person in Panvel, Maharashtra.
