Job Description
As a teacher with the Akanksha network, your role is to inspire and nurture students through engaging education. You will be responsible for bringing the curriculum to life by designing effective lesson plans and assessments that evaluate genuine student progress. This position requires a commitment to creating a dynamic, positive classroom environment that meets diverse learning needs.
You will be a vital part of the school community, building cooperative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your duties extend beyond the classroom to include active participation in professional development, school events, and occasional community visits to foster strong home-school connections.
Teach the Akanksha curriculum using effective pedagogical practices.
Design and execute engaging lesson plans and thoughtful student assessments.
Vary teaching strategies to meet different learning needs and maintain a positive learning environment.
Establish cooperative relationships with students, parents, community members, and the school team.
Actively participate in professional development, school meetings, and extracurricular activities

Primary (Grades 1-7): Graduate in any stream with a Diploma in Elementary Education (Bachelor in Education also acceptable for Grades 6 & 7).
Secondary (Grades 8-10): Graduate in any stream with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Strong content knowledge and expertise in the relevant grade levels.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Good planning, organizational skills, and the ability to work as a strong team player.
