Job Description
We are hiring a Video Editor to join our Real Estate Channel Partners team in a high-volume execution role. This position focuses on editing talking-head videos and short-form reels using predefined templates and repeatable workflows. This is not a motion graphics or cinematic editing role—we need clean, consistent, and efficient edits delivered within tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities – Video Editing & Repurposing:
Edit long-form YouTube talking-head videos with durations varying by client requirement.
Repurpose long-form content into multiple Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
Maintain a consistent editing style and visual identity across multiple client channels.
Add basic subtitles, perform precise cuts, and control pacing—no advanced animations required.
Key Responsibilities – Quality Control & Asset Management:
Ensure audio clarity, proper framing, and visual consistency across all edits.
Perform basic color correction and audio cleanup to enhance production quality.
Organize raw footage and final project files in shared drives for seamless team access.
Review all videos thoroughly for errors before final delivery to clients.
Key Responsibilities – Collaboration:
Work closely with the Content Executive and Operations Coordinator to meet project goals.
Follow predefined scripts, editing templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Deliver all edits within defined timelines and adhere to revision limits per project.
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of hands-on video editing experience with a strong focus on talking-head content. You must be proficient in industry-standard editing software and comfortable working with templates and repeatable workflows. Experience editing for real estate, local businesses, or creators is a plus. Motion graphics knowledge is welcome but not mandatory for this role.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of video editing experience (Required); 1–3 years hands-on editing talking-head videos for YouTube and Instagram Reels.
Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
Editing Skills: Expertise in cutting long-form content, creating short-form reels, subtitle styling, audio cleanup, and basic color correction.
Workflow Management: Ability to work with predefined templates, SOPs, and high-volume editing pipelines.
Asset Management: Familiarity with Google Drive, Frame.io, or similar file organization and review tools.
Preferred Experience: Background in editing for real estate, local businesses, or digital creators.
Optional Skills: Motion graphics knowledge is a plus but not required.
