Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Video Editor & Cinematographer to join our in-house creative team. This hybrid role is centered on capturing and crafting compelling visual narratives within a college environment. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content, with a specific focus on professional faculty interviews and lectures. You will collaborate closely with our team and college faculty to produce engaging content that meets educational and promotional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, set up, and execute video shoots for faculty interviews, lectures, and campus events, ensuring professional-grade cinematography.
• Operate and manage camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording gear in diverse college settings (classrooms, halls, etc.).
• Edit raw footage into polished, high-impact videos using professional software, incorporating graphics, sound, and color grading as needed.
• Collaborate with the creative team and faculty to understand project goals and deliver content that aligns with the vision.
• Manage the full production workflow from pre-production planning to final delivery.

Skill Requirement

The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong technical foundation in both cinematography and post-production. You must be proactive, able to work autonomously on location, and thrive in a dynamic academic environment. A robust portfolio demonstrating your skills is essential.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
• Cinematography: Strong hands-on experience with camera operation, lighting techniques, and audio setup for interview-style and documentary shoots.
• Portfolio: A proven track record and a strong portfolio showcasing video editing and cinematography work, preferably including educational or corporate content.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt filming techniques to various indoor college environments and work professionally with faculty.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Location & Commitment: Must be based in Mumbai, an immediate joiner, and willing to sign a 1-year employment bond.
