Job Description
This role involves editing high-quality short-form and long-form videos for social media, ads, and brand campaigns. The editor will work closely with creators and marketing teams to deliver engaging, platform-optimized content while maintaining brand consistency. Managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring polished final output are key expectations.
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Ads, and brand content
• Create engaging cuts, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and sound design
• Maintain brand tone, style, and visual quality
• Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
• Collaborate with creators, marketers, and clients
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Mentor junior editors when required
• Stay updated with editing trends and platform algorithms
Skill Requirement
The ideal candidate should have strong technical and creative editing skills with a solid understanding of storytelling and social media formats. The role requires independent working ability, creative ownership, and familiarity with modern tools, including AI-based editing workflows, to deliver impactful and engaging video content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
• Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, hooks, and visual flow
• Experience editing Reels, Shorts, and YouTube content
• Knowledge of color correction, basic motion graphics, and sound design
• Ability to work independently and take creative ownership
• Good knowledge of AI tools used in video editing
